Masonic Service Awards Presented
This month, two Masonic Service Awards were presented to Brothers who had completed 60 years as a Mason.  They were Brothers William Coker of Carrollton who became a Master Mason on February 5, 1951 and Foy Husky of Texarkana, who was raised to Master Mason on June 11, 1951.  Both of them are Charter Members of Carrollton Lodge No. 1400!

This Year’s Olympics
It is official!  John Bowsher’s son Dennis has been selected to represent the United States in the pentathlon competition at this summer’s Olympic Games in London.  John is a Pasted Master of this lodge and also a past District Deputy Grand Master and we know he is very proud.  We congratulate John on Dennis’s achievement of being selected to the team and, of course, wish Dennis every success at the Olympics.
