Dallas Masonic Services Bureau
Traditionally, all related Masonic bodies in the Greater Dallas Area are represented in the Dallas Masonic Services Bureau. Each member body has voting privileges in the election of officers and determination of constitution and by-laws, etc. The objective of the Bureau is to provide a means of contact for any member of a Masonic body in need of assistance in times of emergency or distress. The Bureau also provides assistance to Masonic bodies in arranging for burial services when requested.
To become a voting member in the Bureau, please submit your Lodge’s donation (assessment) of 25¢ per Lodge member per year.
The next meeting is Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Pentagon Lodge 1080 in the Scottish Rite building, located at 500 South Harwood in downtown Dallas. Dinner is at 6:30 and the program begins at 7:15. Paul Benson, Ph.D., Professor of the Humanities at Mountain View College will speak on Religion and Masonry. Ladies and non-Mason visitors are invited.
